Staying Connected ...Praise Reports...Something to Shout About!
When you think of all that's good, give thanks to God.
Ephesians 4: 1-16....from him the whole body grows and builds itself up in love.
There's joy in the journey as we walk alongside each other. God uses each of us. The church needs pastors, teachers, spiritual mentors to help us all move forward towards "unity in the faith". We must be patient, show love, be prayerful and encourage one another.
We should encourage, support and pray for our youth and their families!
Check out this recent write up on one of our newest members, Bro Dion Payne! Welcome to McKinley!
Abington Hospital’s Pavilion Grille has been diversifying its menu over the past couple months by featuring international cuisines. These new dishes are all suggested by our employees and are unique to their home countries. Pictured here is a recently featured flavorful and popular street food, Papdi Chaat (also known as Chaat Papri), which was suggested by Qaisar Shah, MD and prepared by Chef Dion Payne. This dish is native to Pakistan and North India.
Congratulations to Trustee Fred Brisbon, and Sister Shirley Brisbon in the recent appointment of their daughter Kelley Hodge as the first African-American female district attorney in Philadelphia.
Kelley Hodge was selected to serve as interim district attorney until the next top prosecutor takes office in January 2018.
We are very proud of this recent announcement and send our prayers to her and the Brisbon and Hodge family. Her hard work has paid off.
As you look back with pride and satisfaction of all of her achievements continue to trust God and know we share in your good news! Congratulations to all of you!
May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.
